    Build a Career,Not Just a Job

We're a small commercial HVAC and refrigeration shop in Loveland that develops technicians into leaders. If you like solving problems with your hands and your head, you'll fit right in.

    Why Work at Accutemp

Our mission has two halves: repair environments for others to pursue their missions, and develop individuals into leaders who build lives of meaning and abundance for their families. The second half is you.

    Commercial-Only Work

Rooftop units, walk-in coolers, brewery chillers, kitchen equipment. Bigger systems, better puzzles, faster skill growth.

    Direct Access to the Owner

No layers. Questions, ideas, and career conversations go straight to Nick, often on the same day.

    Respect for Your Time

Realistic routes, honest scheduling, and an on-call rotation that doesn't eat your life.

    A Real Growth Path

Apprentice to journeyman to lead to service manager. We develop people on purpose. It's in our mission statement.

    What the Work Is Like

We're commercial only. No houses, no homeowners. Our customers are restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, and facilities across Northern Colorado, so the work is varied and technical: rooftop HVAC units, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigeration racks, ice machines, prep tables, and commercial kitchen equipment.

Every building is different and every failure is different. One day you're on a roof in the sun, the next you're getting a brewery's chiller back online before a brew day. If you get bored doing the same call on repeat, this is the opposite of that.

    Who Thrives Here

    • You like puzzles. Diagnosing a weird failure sounds fun, not annoying
    • You take ownership, like your own name is on the invoice
    • You're honest, especially when something goes wrong
    • You want to grow: questions, study, the next certification
    • You're good with customers under pressure

    Open Roles

Every application goes straight to the owner. If there's a fit, you'll hear from Nick directly.

    Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician

    Full-Time

Run commercial service calls across Northern Colorado: rooftop HVAC units, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigeration racks, and commercial kitchen equipment for restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, and facilities. You diagnose, quote, repair, and leave the customer better than you found them.

    What You'll Do

    • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment: rooftop units, split systems, ductless mini splits, and packaged units
    • Service commercial refrigeration: walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, prep tables, and ice machines
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on customer equipment per our maintenance program checklists
    • Communicate clearly with customers on site: explain the problem, the fix, and the cost before work begins
    • Document every job with accurate notes, photos, and parts used
    • Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency service
    • Maintain a clean, stocked service van and take care of company tools and equipment

    What You'll Bring

    • EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred; Type II minimum, required before running refrigerant work solo)
    • 2+ years of commercial HVAC or refrigeration service experience preferred; strong residential techs ready to move into commercial will be considered
    • Solid electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills (reading schematics, using a multimeter, troubleshooting controls)
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
    • Able to lift 50 lbs, work on rooftops and ladders, and work in hot and cold environments
    • NATE certification is a plus (we are a NATE certified shop and will support you in earning it)
    • Honest, coachable, and comfortable talking with business owners and kitchen staff

Dispatch & Operations Specialist (HVAC Experienced)

    Full-Time

Run the day-to-day service operation: dispatch and scheduling, job coordination, and customer communication. This is the person who keeps the whole board moving, and it takes someone who knows the HVAC trade firsthand, not just how to manage a calendar.

    What You'll Do

    • Own daily dispatch and scheduling: route techs efficiently, balance emergency calls against scheduled maintenance
    • Coordinate jobs end to end: parts, follow-ups, and keeping customers informed from first call to completion
    • Handle customer escalations and be the decision-maker when a job gets complicated
    • Review job documentation and quotes for quality, accuracy, and consistency
    • Manage the on-call rotation and keep emergency response commitments
    • Work with the owner on hiring, training plans, and service department improvements

    What You'll Bring

    • Significant hands-on HVAC/refrigeration experience; you must know the trade well enough to sanity-check diagnoses and set priorities
    • Prior dispatch, lead tech, supervisor, or service coordination experience preferred
    • Strong scheduling and prioritization instincts under daily pressure
    • Clear, calm communicator with customers and techs, especially when things go wrong
    • Comfortable with service software, digital job documentation, and basic reporting
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
